Debbie has recently joined Lake Country Optometry after having worked over the past 25 years in Vernon as a licenced optician, contact lens fitter and optical business owner. After all this time in optical, Debbie's passion is fitting contact lenses. Keeping up with new advancements in technology allows her to offer our patients both excellent service and innovative products. Over the years, Debbie has developed many long term relationships with patients that make her job so rewarding. When not at LCO, Debbie enjoys running, skiing and all the wonderful things that the Okanagan has to offer.

Glenda is a dual licensed optician/contact lens fitter who has worked in the optical business since 1976. Although she spent her first 21 years in Hepburn Saskatchewan her optical career has taken her from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Calgary, Alberta and then to Vancouver, B.C. She has worked as an optometric assistant, an optician, a contact lens fitter, and office administrator. Glenda and her husband, who runs Holmes Electric, moved to the Okanagan in 1998. They love living in Lake Country with their two cats, Skeezix and Tiger. Besides giving the best possible service in their chosen professions, they enjoy boating, travelling, entertaining, and working with the SPCA and the Humane Society.

Colleen Klassen grew up in Fort St. John, and worked in Kamloops as an optometric assistant for seven years. She moved with her husband to the Okanagan and joined us at Lake Country Optometry Clinic in September 2008. Her sense of humour, experience, and caring attitude make her a great asset and team player. When she’s not at work, she enjoys quilting, motor biking and triathalons.

Jennifer Stamp came to us after completing the Business Technology program at UBCO.  She enjoys her position as an optometric assistant and looks forward to continuing her studies within the Optometric field.  Jen has lived in the Lake Country community for more than 15 years.  You may have met her through Turtle Town, her licensed family childcare center, which she operated for 4 years.

Tina DeRoche comes to us with 15 years of combined medical reception experience.  You will usually find Tina at the front desk, welcoming patients, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.  She enjoys reading, scrapbooking, animals and chocolate.  She lives in Kelowna with her husband Peter, and grown daughters, Dominique and Christine.
