Dr. Conrad Mann is thrilled to call the Okanagan his new home. Originally from the open, flat prairies of Winnipeg, he has lived in Sudan, Laos, and all over Canada. He has a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Winnipeg, and he studied optometry at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, where he graduated on the Dean's honours list. During his studies he completed internships at a thriving clinic in Abbotsford, BC, as well as a large specialist centre called Houston Eye Associates in Texas. Before moving to the Okanagan he worked in rugged, beautiful Newfoundland, where he gained valuable experience in rural optometry, at times as the only optometrist for miles around. In Newfoundland he rediscovered a love for the outdoors, and he can't wait to see what the Okanagan has to offer. He enjoys hiking, skiing, cycling, and more. Dr. Mann is now accepting new patients (and hiking recommendations)!
